The conference secretariat has secured accommodation rooms at discounted rates for conference attendees only. Each hotel has its own payment terms and cancellation policies. Please ensure you read these before making an accommodation booking.

Accommodation bookings are to be made alongside your conference registration, through the registration form. The registration form can be found here.

All accommodation bookings must be finalised 15 October 2026. A credit card must be received with your registration to secure your accommodation booking. Details for each property are listed below.

Hotel Grand Chancellor Hobart

Located on Hobart’s picturesque waterfront overlooking Constitution Dock, Hotel Grand Chancellor Hobart offers the perfect base for delegates looking to explore the best of Tasmania’s capital. Just a short walk from Salamanca Place, the MONA ferry terminal, and the city’s vibrant dining and arts precincts, the hotel combines convenience with stunning harbour and mountain views.

Modern, spacious guest rooms feature warm finishes and comfortable furnishings, creating a relaxing space to unwind after a full conference day. All rooms include tea and coffee making facilities, minibar, air-conditioning, Wi-Fi access and well-appointed bathrooms.

The hotel is the conference venue for this year’s ASM.

Harbour View Room – $320 per night room only

Please note: Rooms may be set as either King or Twin (2 double beds). Requests can be made for individual reservations; however, they cannot be guaranteed.

Breakfast: Breakfast is served daily in the Tasman restaurant and will be charged on consumption to the individual guest at a rate of $36.50 per person. Please note this price is subject to change.
Payment Terms and Conditions: A credit card guarantee must be received at the time of booking. The credit cards will be authorised upon check in, with the final accommodation amount charged upon check out.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations of bookings must be received in writing. Changes within 14 days that reduce nights booked will incur a cancellation fee of one night’s accommodation per room. Cancellation of any room nights within 7 days will incur the full accommodation amount.

 

Crowne Plaza Hobart

Crowne Plaza Hobart is a contemporary hotel centrally located in Hobart CBD. Crowne Plaza Hobart places you just moments away from iconic attractions like Salamanca Place, Constitution Dock, and premier shopping districts.

Each room features luxurious bedding, aromatherapy-infused bath products, smart TVs, free WIFI and views of Hobart’s scenic landscapes, from the harbour, Mount Wellington, and to the bustling city streets.

Crowne Plaza Hobart is located 850m or a 12 minute walk from the conference venue, Hotel Grand Chancellor.

Run of House Guest Room – $259 per night

Please note: Run of House rooms will either include 1 King Standard, 2 Double Standard or 1 King Standard Accessible. Requests can be made for individual reservations, however, they cannot be guaranteed.

Check out: 11.00am
Breakfast: Daily buffet breakfast is served for $38 per person, per day and will be charged upon check in.
Payment Terms and Conditions: Credit cards must be provided at the time of booking to secure your room. Just after the accommodation deadline of 15 October 2026, 100% of the total accommodation cost will be charged to the card provided.
Cancellation Policy: From 16 October 2026, 100% of rooms/nights cancelled will be charged to the guests’ card on file.

Please note that the conference secretariat has not secured a discounted rates and bookings must be made directly with the property. The conference secretariat cannot guarantee availability, rates, or booking conditions at these properties and accepts no responsibility for arrangements made outside the official conference accommodation.

 

Accommodation Terms and Conditions

 

It is a hotel requirement that all bookings include credit card details. These credit card details will be forwarded to your selected hotel as a guarantee. If you have not done so already, please provide your credit card details to the Conference Secretariat.  Please note that the payment for one or multiple night’s accommodation may be charged by the hotel from 16 October 2026 as deposit to secure the booking, depending on the booking conditions of the property. You will be responsible for the balance of your account when checking out from your hotel. Accommodation rates listed above will only be provided to delegates who book through the Conference Secretariat and will not be honoured if booking directly with the hotel.
