The welcome reception will be held in the Habour View Room of the Hotel Grand Chancellor Hobart, our conference venue. Overlooking Hobart’s working waterfront, Harbour View Room One boasts floor to ceiling glass so feel like you are actually on the waterfront.
Come along for the chance to catch up with colleagues, network with other attendees and to connect with the 2026 sponsors and exhibitors.
Canapes and drinks will be available for all attendees.
Registration will be located in the Mezzanine Foyer during the function.

Governor Hosted Event

Government House, Hobart
Her Excellency the Honourable Caroline Wells, Governor of Tasmania, invites delegates to a special evening reception at Government House in Hobart. The event will be an opportunity to hear from Her Excellency, enjoy the historic surrounds of Government House, and have another chance to catch up with peers in a unique and memorable setting.
Bookings for this special event are limited and will be managed separately to the registration system. Bookings will open Monday 12 October 2026 at 9:00 am and close on Thursday 12 November 2026 at 9:00 am. ASM registered attendees will be notified by email on how to register.
Government House is a 5-minute taxi ride from the conference venue, Hotel Grand Chancellor.
