Registrations will be acknowledged via email with confirmation of your requirements in accordance with your registration, together with a tax invoice receipt. Please note that bookings will only be confirmed once payment is received.

Visa Support Letters

If you require a support letter for your visa application please complete a Conference registration form and then contact the Conference Secretariat at to request a letter. Registration payment may need to be made to support this process.

Cancellation Policy

Refunds of Conference Registration Fees paid, less a $100.00 AUD administration fee, will be granted until 26 October 2017. Cancellation must be received in writing to the Conference Secretariat before this date. Cancellations received after 26 October 2017 will NOT receive a refund. A replacement delegate can be sent with no penalty charged, however this must also be advised to the Conference Secretariat in writing. Cancellations of accommodation must also be submitted in writing to the Conference Secretariat before 4 October 2017 otherwise penalties will apply.

Please note that The Pullman on the Park impose strict cancellation policies for accommodation rooms. Any rooms cancelled within 30 days, 15 October 2017, of the conference will incur a 100% accommodation cancellation fee, which will be charged directly by the hotel against your credit card.

It is a hotel requirement that all bookings include credit card details. These credit card details will be forwarded to your selected hotel as a guarantee. If you have not done so already, please provide your credit card details to the Conference Secretariat. Please note that the payment for one night’s accommodation may be charged by the hotel from 15 October 2017 as deposit to secure the booking, depending on the booking conditions of the property. You will be responsible for the balance of your account when checking out from your hotel. Accommodation rates listed above will only be provided to delegates who book through the Conference Secretariat and will not be honoured if booking directly with the hotel.

General Conditions of Registration

It is expressly agreed that the members of the Organising Committee and the Conference Secretariat for the HITH Society Australasia 10th Annual Scientific Conference 2017, their legal representatives, directors and employees, and their agents, officers and services, shall not be liable for any loss, injury or damage of any kind whatsoever suffered directly or indirectly by the person, possession or property of any Conference participant or other person during or in connection with the events on the program or any other activities of the HITH Society Australasia 10th Annual Scientific Conference 2017, for any reason whatsoever no matter howsoever caused.

It is agreed that the Organising Committee and the Secretariat for the HITH Society Australasia 10th Annual Scientific Conference 2017, and their agents and officers, reserve the right to cancel at any time any or all of the programmed or other activities if this should appear necessary as a result of

events which are beyond their control or which they cannot reasonably be expected to influence or for which they are not responsible. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, such events shall include force majeure, government or other official regulations, natural disasters, strikes or any kind whatsoever, civil, international or other crises, or any other unforeseen occurrence. Decisions regarding the necessity for such cancellation shall be taken by the Organising Committee, or their agents, at their sole discretion and shall be final.

The HITH Society Australasia is the peak body representing doctors, nurses, allied health, and other health care workers in Australia, Asia & the Pacific who provide Hospital in the Home (HITH) care. The HITH Society Australasia provides education, promotes networking and through its Executive Council, represents its members by providing expert commentary and lobbying Governments at a local and Federal level on HITH issues. HITH society membership costs $85.
